A YES vote on Measure NDC will stop data centers from being built in Monterey Park. The entire Monterey Park City Council supports YES on Measure NDC. A YES vote will:
π§ Protect Our Water
π¨ Keep Our Air Clean and Healthy
ποΈ Protect Our Neighborhoods
π Protect Our Quality of Life
π©π»βπ©π½βπ§π½βπ§π» Protect Future Generations
A data center ban means we will protect our community for current and future generations, by:
Preventing higher electricity rates from being passed on to residents
Safeguarding our limited supply of water
Reducing air pollution and climate impacts
Mitigating 24/7 noise pollution generated by data centers
Preserving our quality of life
A data center ban in Monterey Park would be the first of its kind in California, blazing a trail for other cities to consider banning data centers in the San Gabriel Valley region and beyond. Once this passes, Monterey Park will be leading the San Gabriel Valley in the effort to prevent data centers from impacting our communities.
